The Cosmonomic Diet is derived from a probability distribution that governs the 24-hour wake/sleep cycle. The caloric diet that governs food ingestion is complementary to the spiritual diet that governs scriptural ingestion as physical fitness and spiritual fitness go hand in hand. The main feeding time in the caloric diet is during lunch when 70% of daily calories are ingested, which allows sufficient time for food digestion before the evening diet and exercise routine of scriptural study and meditation.
Meditation Procedure
MEDITATION PROCEDURE
1) Sit in a chair in a quiet and dark place with the back in a straight, vertically upright position with no back support.
2) Placed hands in the lap with fingers loosely interlocked and with one thumb placed on the wrist of the opposite hand at the base of the other thumb where a pulse can be felt.
3) Take four or five slow breaths, breathing in and out as deeply as possible.
4) Begin inhaling for an 8-count and exhaling for an 8-count, where each count is two heartbeats. Use the thumb that is placed on the wrist to count an equal number of heartbeats while inhaling and exhaling.
5) After feeling a slight pulse of relief, alter the inhalation rate where the breath is held on the fourth count during inhalation, then inhalation continues on counts five through eight. Continue exhalation on an 8-count.
6) While breathing using the modified 8-count, begin focusing on a mental image associated with the lunar/cosmonomic cycle (see graphic above).
7) When thoughts and mental chatter begin to settle, stop the 8-count and begin to mentally recite the bible verse over and over again while maintaining focus on the mental image. Continue reciting scripture until it becomes possible to grasp the entire bible verse without reciting the individual words.
8) Stop scripture recitation and image visualization and make no effort to think, or not think, about any particular subject or object. Meditative trance occurs when the mind goes blank and there is a feeling like daydreaming except activity that is normally observed during a daydream is instead replaced with stillness and silence.
